My heart aches because of the huge explosion in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, that took away the lives of many people and damaged half of the city. Hearing about the catastrophe in the land where I’ve felt at home on the first day of the series of six Master Idaki Shin concerts, I attended the concert contemplating the world as well as my life from here on. I encountered the presence of Jesus Christ and understood what a human being is. I shed tears as the wind revived from the time I visited the land where Jesus walked. I experienced living as a human. From the encounter with a presence that continually lives and exists beyond time and space, I inquire and wake up to my own existence. I learn to commit myself to the way I live, and I encounter a soul that lives for eternity. Many divine existences and Great Being are guiding us. I recognize it from experiencing it. I also think about the presence of Master Idaki Shin, who has been telling us all along that each person can live by realizing and contemplating things on one’s own. The meaning of my encounter with him is historical. I will keep working to make my wish come true when the world changes at once into a world where no precious life is sacrificed anymore. Thank you very much.
