Since I can remember, I lived hiding the Koguryo kingdom and the Koma family. My late father told me, only me out of all his children, every day, “You should never forget that you are a direct descendant of the Koguryo kings.” However, I did not talk about Koguryo to other people. When my life was about to end at age twenty-four, I was saved owing to an encounter with Master Idaki Shin. Although I never told him about my ancestors, I began talking when he asked me about it.
Ever since I started narrating a poem in the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert about the message, “The back will be in front and the front will be in back,” one I received at a shrine where Sarutahiko-Okami is enshrined, phenomena have indeed increased where what used to be hidden was revealed. Last year lies began to be revealed to the world, just as Master Idaki Shin predicted. As for me, I started to feel that I was lying when I ordinarily refrained from expressing some matters, not recognizing that I was lying at the time. One of them was about Koguryo and the Koma family. Recently when Master Idaki Shin talked about the land of Mitaka, I knew from my physical sense that the place where my ancestors had lived for more than twelve hundred years was being revealed: it was indeed the back being manifest in front. Because I hold my lecture event and the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert, it may seem Koguryo appears in front, but I continued to think throughout my life why I always felt that I was hiding it. These days when I realized and understood many things, at last, I was astonished to find that now is an era where everything can be seen right through as it becomes manifest. When the thing that I naturally used to hide was revealed, I began to perceive that my life is a vertical axis of history, an expression of Master Idaki Shin’s. And I understood the meaning of his words that a human becomes a human by coming in contact with a vertical axis of history. This message was something that he mentioned at a lecture that used to be held to explain the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert in the early days because many people didn’t understand the concert. Eighteen years have passed already. And at the "Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered" held in Komae on the anniversary of the concert, January 11th, the vertical axis of history was manifested. An era where a human lives as a human will open up. I am filled with sincere gratitude and joy. Thank you very much.
